Министр обороны Украины Степан Полторак заявил о том, что на сегодняшний день порядка 40 тыс. представителей добровольческого движения защищают территориальную целостность Украины в зоне проведения антитеррористической операции. Полторак заявил о том, что в 2017 году 40% структурных подразделений генерального штаба Вооруженных сил Украины будут отвечать критериям государств-членов НАТО.
